Fictiv's platform offers a vast range of process, material, and finish combinations. Here are some of the most commonly used options by our customers in the die-casting industry:
High pressure die casting is a precision manufacturing process that involves injecting molten metal into a steel die or mold at extremely high pressures, typically ranging from 1,000 to 20,000 psi.
Molten metal is gently poured and propelled into a mold w/ low-pressure gas at 7-30 PSI.
Cold-chamber casting is suitable for alloys with high melting temps like aluminum. Hot-chamber casting is good for alloys with low melting temps and is a faster process used to make intricate geometries.
